Homam Maalouf
Co-founder, Chief Product & Data Science Officer
Homam Maalouf is the Chief Data Science & Product Officer and co-founder of Lead Bank.
Previously, he spent over six years at Block, Inc. (formerly Square, Inc.), leading Product Management, Data Science and Credit functions for Square Capital, Block’s small-business lending program. As Chief Credit Officer for Square Financial Services, Block’s internal bank, he spearheaded the company’s bank license application process and ensuing de-novo bank codebase. He also served as Risk Lead for Square’s Risk Committee, helping oversee Square’s overall credit exposure, balance sheet composition and risk management functions.
Previously, Homam worked at Yahoo! Inc. across Corporate Development and Search, and spent several years in Strategy and Management Consulting at Booz Allen Hamilton / Booz & Company, serving clients in the Telecommunications and Healthcare sectors across the Middle East and North America.
Homam holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Cornell University and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
