Lead Bank Brings Top Talent to the Kansas City Crossroads

Kansas City, MO (September 2015) Lead Bank, an 86-year-old, locally-owned financial institution, dedicated to the needs of small businesses and their families, continues to provide the highest level of sophistication to its clients by hiring exceptional people. This trend will continue as they open their new Kansas City Crossroads location in early October. Lead Bank has hired several new team members, including a Market President, two Universal Bankers, and an Assistant Vice President–Branch Manager. 

Debbie Swearingen, a certified Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA), joins the Crossroads location as Kansas City Market President. Debbie has more than twenty years of banking experience and holds a BGS in Business Communication from the University of Kansas. In her new role, she will ensure operational efficiency within the strategic plan, and foster community relationships between the bank, businesses and civic organizations. 

Brad Langkamp, the newly appointed Assistant Vice President–Branch Manager, will manage team performance and maintain a culture of sales, service and risk management, initiate and open new accounts and facilitate credit discussions. Previously, Brad was with Bank of America where he worked for more than nine years, most recently as an Assistant Vice President–Financial Center Manager.

Patrick Unrein and Pablo Berrio join Lead Bank Crossroads as Universal Bankers, a comprehensive position trained across all departments that helps them assist clients in treasury, lending, and advisory, surpassing the traditional teller tasks. Patrick has come to Lead Bank from Kaw Valley Bank in Topeka and Pablo joins the team from Commerce Bank with more than three years experience. With the opening of the Crossroads location, each team member will have completed a signature Lead Bank training program, the “Banker in Training” Program. In line with Lead Bank’s goal to provide its clients the smartest and most efficient banking experience, the “Banker in Training” program will give Lead Bankers expertise in front-line responsibilities, treasury, lending, and advisory services.
