Lead Bank, community development officer
Urquilla joined Lead Bank in late 2021. His job is to accelerate its work in reaching communities throughout Kansas City and to lead its Community Reinvestment Act initiatives. He’s a 15-year banking veteran who has been involved in business banking and community development much of that time. Urquilla serves on the Raymore Planning and Zoning Commission and is a former executive board member for the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, NextStepKC and several other nonprofits. He’s a 2016 graduate of the Centurions Leadership program.
